The Cure Walk supporting Averi Ramsey ( Lady Vol adopted Teammate) is this Saturday... The Team is short of their fundraising goal..... Now would be a good time to donate if you had considered doing so.... Thanks for your support...

Go Vols!

Please support this great cause.... still a chance to donate!

This is an awesome thing they did for this little girl. Unfortunately, in this day and age it's hard for many to give. I also think the asking for money is so over used that it ruins the entire idea. Every time you go to a gas station, Walmart, Walgreens, etc it's always do you want to donate a dollar to such and such. I think people get so annoyed by the constant asking that they simple just never give anymore. People give because they want to not because they are talked into it by a clerk ringing up your items. I'm not trying to be negative or anything as I work for a research facility that funds/researches for Saint Jude Hospital, but their has to be a better way to get donors who truly want to donate to give money without annoying the piss out of everyone everyday.

We all do the best we can.

I live in California... That's my daughter in the picture with Averi and the little girl has become a big part of our life. We were just in Tennessee over the weekend and had a chance to see the Ramsey Family and spent some time with Averi. My daughter, Melissa attended her Chemo treatment on Friday.

My wife and I purchased some Vol backpacks from one of the local stores and my daughter had the softball coaches and teammates signed them and my daughter passed out to the 20 other children getting their chemo treatment over at Fort Sanders on Friday.

I donated to the walk and purchased the mororized Barbie car they gave to the little girl at the Lady Vol softball game this past spring..... I also posted this message over on the IT Scout page to help raise awarenesss and to help contribute to the cause the best way I could...

We all do what we can!

God Bless you, your Family and VolNation!

Go Vols....
