Curious question about candidates.

Every time we have to hire a new coach, there is a LIST.

Why does this LIST change?

Is it because these coaching candidates are giving out feelers that they are ready for a change?

Why not always go after the HOMERUN hire?

Because sometimes people on lists aren't worth a damn by the time we're in a situation to start looking. People have preferences as well. Not everyone wants to be the head coach here.

That's a great question. Other than gruden I don't have a fill on this whole thing. It's weird. I wouldn't be shocked to wake up tomorrow and it be a no name. I just don't know.
