Current Players think this coaching search is annoying

no offense meant here to Maurice and the team, but we need to give them a list of things about this season that are much more annoying than a necessary coaching search. I will start it off.
1 Losing to Vanderbilt
2 Not blowing out Troy and Akron
3 Poor clock management
4 Players missing tackles
5 A secondary that doesn't cover
6 Too many men or not enough men on the field
7 Only one SEC win this season, and that one with an interim coach
8 The number of quality wins in the past 3 seasons
9 Next season begins by playing 2 "quality" opponents in Austin Peed, and Western Kenturkey,

I now turn it over to someone else before I blow a blood vessel

Because coaches have nothing to do with how players play, right? It's not like it's up to coaches to make sure their players now their basic fundamentals. Dooley's gone now, so it's time to get a coach that can drive these young men and teach them. That'll fix the things you mention.

I want to think that Hart is taking his time and making sure that he is getting the right coach. The thing that gets me is that KY jelly U, The Barn, and Arky have all hired a coach within a week of firing their old coach. Are we that bad now that no one wants to come here? I would hope not. Our tradition and facilities alone should entice a coach. I'm holding out hope for Hart. I just hope that it isn't proven unwarranted.

i couldn't care less who is hired and it's annoying to me but it's such a dumpster fire i can't stop coming back for the laughs

Reminds me of the Michigan/App State game of 07. App State fans were annoying with their year long celebration, but I kept watching the highlights for the laughs.

My guess is that the players are getting annoyed by being asked by everyone and their brother about who the next coach will be.

Auburn, Arkansas, and Kentucky got their man and UT can't. When you have 75-100 million in reserve, you are more flexible than if you have to move 18 million from the academic side. That's the only logical reason it would be difficult to get someone to accept the position in a program with the past success UT has had.

And that is why we could not afford to fire DD it was a stupid move, at least we had stability and opportunity to make money! now football is in the red for at least 10 years!

You should just let that vessel blow. Mo has been busting his butt and you can see the fire, which is precisely why a comment like that is made. You think he has control of the clock management and how the secondary covers? No, that would be that so-called coach's responsibility we had. You sir are a retard, lay off the players.

Yeah cause coaches fumble the ball or throw interceptions on key scoring drives too. They don't wrap up on tackles either. See where this can go round and round. Players needing to execute is just as much important if not more so than the most simple of coaching schemes.

I agree Couch and a few players played all out and well this season but others didn't and have no room to complain. The blame for the situation we are in right can be passed around.

If the players are taking their cues from our fanbase then they are probably ready to slit their wrists right about now.

Gotta disagree with you. At the beginning of the year I would have agreed but as the egregious coaching blunders began to mount I changed my mind.

We will be out of the red in 3 years with a good hire, THANKS to the genorosity of some very influential boosters.

I regards to the previous players comment about players. I agree that ultimately the player is responsible but the player has to be schooled in fundamentals and schemes and then evaluated for performance. That was not done correctly as many players regressed except for our running game, return game, and o-line. Correlate that to the coaches there and what does that equal?

Use Neal as an example, fumbling issues were virtually eliminated along with hitting the whole faster and less east west dancing. Graham is responsible along with Pittman bringing the nasty back to the oline in making some gaps.

Randolph going down hurt but when you have a 4th and long play, down seven on the 25 and your secondary is not told to protect your endzone as a priority then that is scheme. See Missouri.

I could keep going, Sure Bray gave a couple away in pressing and fumbling but what was the play call. This round and round thing went one way with this staff....

UF,UGA, USCe, LSU, Mizzou, KY all winnable in the last three years that slipped away, and not due to players...don't sell it cause I'm not buying.

difference here is, you're laughing at the result of the game and i'm laughing at easily one of the most delusional fanbases in the country

i've got absolutely nothing against the team and the university, i'd love to see them come back so don't take it as that.

Just go to class & keep your noses clean, boys. While we need "speed" on the team, don't take the drug route.
