Feel bad for Toledo. Could've been a huge day for the MAC combined with Temple's destruction of Maryland.

I didn't see what you are talking about, but I take it a missed FG was counted as good?

It was reviewed and ruling on the field confirmed. Unbelievable.

You'll have a chance to see it I'm sure.

Unreal. Hard to believe replay couldn't tell if a FG was good or not. If it's not on ESPN soon, it will probably be on youtube soon. I definitely will check that out.

I liked Dooley's comment about it on CBS when he said he is the wrong guy to ask to comment on calls at the end of games. Pretty funny. That was a terrible call too. Twice...

Somebody, unfortunately, needed to explain to the ref that if the ball blocks out part of the goal post, it is passing by it.

It was such a bad call I will not be surprised if there is an officiating crew watching games at home for the rest of the season.

Is there any way that Toledo will be given the win? It's not like this was just a regular missed call... Rockets actually won the game.

That can't actually be said though. Syracuse would have had a different mentality on defense if they only had a two point lead, so it could have played out differently. I doubt anything meaningful will be done.

After the game the Big East released this statement in regards to the play: "After studying the videos of the Syracuse extra point attempt at 2:07 of the fourth quarter, we have concluded that the ruling on the field that the kick passed between the uprights was incorrect, and that the replay official made an error in failing to reverse that ruling. In reviewing the video, we have determined that the angle from behind the kicking team shows conclusively that the ball passes outside the right upright.

"Our review of the process determined that the replay official mistakenly focused his attention on the sideline angle, which proved to be distorted. We are confident that our officiating staff will learn from this situation in order to prevent a reoccurrence."

i.e. We blew it, it sucks, game still stands.
