Good article. I like the earring part. That always seemed to piss me off when I see them wearing that stuff. But that may be the military in me.

Don't get me started on long hair.

Good to read. This is exactly what everyone knew or hoped that Cut would bring with him. The ability to discipline and make no apologies for it. Alot of coaches send mixed signals on what they consider discipline which leads these kids to believe they can get away with alot which they have in the past. Not with Cut. No grey area. This will be positive going into season.

In recent years, Fulmer had gotten in a coaching rut. He seemed to believe he had broken the code: recruit superior talent, point the players in the right direction, maintain stability on the staff and try to keep the peace.

Those who questioned his philosophy were told to take a quick look at his won-lost record and mind their own business.


Sounds like Climer hit the Fulmerite idealogy on the head.

what do you do @ robbins afb... i was AF for 3 years stattioned @ Nellis AFB. I recently seperated and moved back home to Knoxville. I only ask because I had to attend a cluster there and it didn't look like it had a lot going on the base.

Military or not, I like to think it is the "MAN" in you. Cut the hair, throw away the earrings, and get the names off the jerseys so that we look like a team of adult males!! These moves will take us a giant leap toward the beginning of a successful season.

I could care less about the earrings, long hair, tattoos, etc. Those are not behavioral defects. I believe we should get some players in here with strong character, and continue to groom those players. I could care less about giving societal degenerates 'second chances.'

I got my ears pierced while I was in college. Probably did it to piss off Dad, but that is not the point.

I consider myself pretty successful. I work at a large aircraft company designing aircraft structure. I make 6 figures a year. I have a beautiful wife and two great kids. I have a nice house with a pool.

My earrings make me no less or more a man. They are jewelry, just like a watch or class ring. Get over it.

Thank you so much, What in the hell does wearing an earring, long hair have to do with discpline? I guess I need to go out and rob , steal and fight because I have locs and an earring. So I guess I will have The Univerity of Memphis and Howard University recall my degrees since I have locs and wear an earring.
