Does anyone have a link to or copy of Tennessee's active roster for the College World Series? I would have thought Matthew Dallas was on the active roster, but I'm assuming he isn't since he just entered the transfer portal.

It was said yesterday that he was already playing summer ball. Some questioned why he wouldn’t atleast be there to experience it since he would likely be a main guy next year. Answer was provided earlier as to why he wasn’t there.

There are more than 27 uniformed from what I have counted. But only 27 are active. Historically, UT has several guys on the trip that Vitello typically feels is important to gain the experience of being there as he plans for the future and the future roles of several guys on the team.

Most of the extras were released before regionals to play summer ball. As far as pitchers, as mentioned, Dallas and Schaefer are not in Omaha. Others, like Hunley and maybe one other, are there and dressed in the dugout. A few extra position guys are there as well, etc.

Just for clarity. 27 roster spots, cleared prior to any games being played. A maximum of 40 folks in the dugout including coaches, trainers, docs, bat boys…again, all approved beforehand.
