D Line Recruiting

I realize that we have received verbals from some awesome Defensive Ends and Defensive Tackles so far this season. My question is how many more players from these positions are we going to recruit? It seems like we should be going for more offensive players rather than more D-Line. Are we thin at D-line with returning players?

Thanks for your responses. I now see that you cant have too many big D-Lineman. Let's hope for more O-line commitments as well. Thats what I am worried about the most.

i think its more likely to see at least one of these d-line guys moved to linebacker like corey miller or jacques smith.. i doubt any of them move to o-line...

So basically this staff is getting players that they think can fit into other roles more easily and not just getting pure Linemen.

Uaually, you move a DL to the OL if they have shown they can not play DL. I think all the guys we are getting as DL can play DL. No need to switch them over to OL.

We know, no need to brag. Now back to the Vols D-line recruits...you can't recruit too many. If worst comes to worst, move some to LB and help the depth problem there

I wouldn't want to answer those questions ,because I'm not an insider. I'm just posting my opinions to what I've been reading on rivals.com insider. lol
