It's pretty easy to justify, purely from a financial/economic perspective, that Saban should be making double what he makes now, if not $20-25m per year. Especially after the contract Calipari signed.

Even Clemson thinks Dabo will jump if Bama offers. Why make a higher buyout for one school versus all the others? A school that Dabo has already said he would seriously consider if offered.

It's justified for bringing in the amount of money to the university that he does. Not just football revenue, but increased exposure for all of their sports and the university at large. Something like close to half of students now are from out of state. He's brought in hundreds of millions of dollars over what would have been brought in otherwise.
