Keep an eye on Dakota Woods from Smyrna. He's the best DT in the Rutherford Co. / M'boro area. 6'3, 274, runs a 4.7.

anybody know this guy?

He is a cousin of a very good friend in Smyrna. I never expected him to be good enough to play for a major college but I guess I was wrong.

He is a big boy, I'm going to call around and get some more info on him after work. If I can get a hold of him, maybe I can help with recruiting :)

From what his cousin says, UT isn't on his list to play for. I don't think he's quite SEC material

My goodness... why don't we just stock our basketball, football, and baseball teams with nothing but Smyrna high graduates and call it a day? Oh, and mix in a few kids from Chattanooga...

Im guessing that he'll be the next guy in our no star recruiting class.

Just seems like everyday, there's a new thread about some kid from Smyrna high school in some sport that we need to be recruiting.

Long week...

'Bout 30 minutes south of Nashville.

But, from what I've learned he will probably won't go 50 miles away from home. He won't be a Vol

He's big and fast, but I really don't think he's major D1 material. He'll probably end up at a TSU or Carson Newman or something like that.

Too bad, doesn't sound like a major thing but bad enough that I wouldn't recruit him. That is just not something you want to see from a teenager that you would offer a free education.

"He's a great guy. He's an A and B student. He does football. He had a part time job. He's great. He doesn't get out and run the street," she said, adding she doesn't know why the picture was taken.
Tyree said her son volunteered to talk to investigators after his football game Friday night and believes the whole incident was blown out of proportion.

could be a victim of circumstance
