Is Dale Jones on the radar screen as a list of coaches to consider as a special teams coach in the future. :matrix:

I have definitely heard rumors that he is on the short list to be THE special teams coach. While I think this is good, cause I love Dale, I really wish we would get someone that is more experienced and proven in coaching the special teams, either at a major college program or in the NFL. There's got to be an assistant at VA Tech or Miami that would come over, or maybe a mid-major conference coach that has proven to have excellent special teams.

I agree, it's to the point that good hires need to be made all around. If not, then we are going to have a revolving door of coaches the next few years and that's not going to help anything.

I'd like to have Bill Bates back as well. However, he has this Dude Ranch thing going in Texas, so I don't think football is in his future. Check it out on google, type in Bill Bates. In Texas they call him Billy Bates.
