So is he a lock for one of the many open asst. coaching positions now?

I heard Bob say on the broadcast tonight that he was at the basketball game I believe. The guy would atleast bring a great intensity..

Played for Majors. The few guys that I have known that played for Johnny don't care too much for Fulmer....wonder why?

I think I remember reading that Jones wouldn't consider coaching at Tennessee while Fulmer is still around.

I disagree with dale Jones not wanting to coach at Tennessee. I know a nephew of his and we have talked about him coming to knox. He said Dale would love to.

Haven't heard much lately ont he Sanders to Western Carolina rumor but I think if he does get that job he might tab DJ as his DC.....just a thought!

If he coaches equally to his playing, find him a place. No brainer. One of my favorite former players right behind Al Wilson.

Yeah, but time helps to heal wounds... so does the opportunity for personal benefit.

I doubt many of those guys still have a deep seeded grudge against Fulmer, its been 15 years. Even Johnny has come back home.

I still get goose bumps watching him go thru the "T" on senior day. That emotional fist pump of his brought the stands to a roar. I wonder if he could coach db's??

Jones has 11 years at App/state where he is linebackers coach. I don't see any problem with bringing him in (unless of course Al Wilson wants the job) :).

With Slade leaving could we move some defensive position coaches around and let him coach linebackers?? Is this a real possibility??

That might make for an interesting attitude adjustment with the DB's.

all the talk about high powered offense...spread option...pass happy or what ever. I'll take a consistent offense and a defense with a killer instinct any day. Dale would definitely put a swagger there.
