Tennessee guard Dalton Knecht, a 6-foot-6, 213-pound fifth-year player from Thornton, Colo., averaged 20.5 points, four rebounds and 1.5 assists in wins over Tennessee Tech and at Wisconsin. He opened the season with 17 points on 6-of-11 shooting against Tennessee Tech. Knecht then converted 8-of-15 shots from the field and 7-of-9 free throws to pace the Vols in an 80-70 win at Wisconsin.

Dude is a Hooper and a bucket. I can't remember the last time Tennessee had a player of His caliber offensively....plays bigger than He is.

I think we've had one but it's been a good while... Can't remember his name, but I think his first time rhymes with Chris and his last name rhymes with Lofton

Before him we had McRae and JRich.

Then there were freshman one and dones Tobias, Springer, and Chandler who could score the ball. It's crazy to think about, but both Springer and Chandler are younger than Knecht. Really makes you think how dominate they'd be as upperclassman right now.

If the over/under on SEC POW is 2.5, which are you taking? Over for me
I would have to take the under ... last year, I think (did not check ... going on my memory which is never a good idea, but ...) we had SEC POW only 4 times and never had a repeat performer (?).
It would be amazing to go over 4.5 POW awards with various players getting the nod. I would take the over on that one.

True. Lofton just came to my mind first, absolutely loved watching him ball.
