Exceptional career he's had since decommitting from the real UT. I'll tell ya what, Texass has really molded him into one hell of a fine player.

another example of Dooley not having a clue what kind of player it took to compete for championships in the SEC. The guy couldn't play in the BigXII, you know he wouldn't have made it in the SEC.

He was a texas boy, wanted to go to Texas and once Brown offered, he was gone....enough said

I've always thought Dalton Santos' commitment to Tennessee over Texas A&M was a catalyst for them to leave the Big 12. No one's ever reported it, bit I think recruiting was a motivation. Dooley fought expansion of the SEC because he felt it would hurt Tennessee in recruiting in those states where expansion occurred.

Kid talked a big game and acted like Tennessee was the best thing to ever happen to him. And then he completely flipped. I've always sort of rooted against him since. Call it classless or whatever you want, but glad he ended up being a scrub that didn't hurt us to lose.

Dooley wasn't wrong on that. Texas A&M gained more from coming to the SEC than any other school switching conferences that we may ever see. Outside of Sewanee and Tulane leaving the SEC of course.

People live vicariously through others and teams when they have miserable personal/professional lives.
