Dan Fleser: Nikki McCray-Penson Was One Of The Greatest Lady Vols

I never knew her or even met her but she was always a favorite. I remember her as always having a smile and it suggested to me she wanted to make a difference in life, and based upon all I have read of her - she did that and more. We need more like her and try to be more like her ourselves. We lost a good one.

Dan Fleser and Marvin West were two of the best writers that the News Sentinel ever had.

It would be cool if the Lady Volunteers wore a patch with McCray's initals on the uniform for the 2023-2024 season.
