People laughed when he came out of White Station in Memphis back in the buzzball days. But I'll tell you this, there is not a single player in NCAA basketball with more heart than that kid.

I watched him in high school and, though I didn't think he'd actually contribute on the court, I knew he'd be an asset in character. Hopefully he'll have another incredible year.

Unfortunately, I don't think you can teach "heart", because Dane's got that - for sure. With Dane being the only senior, he is going to have to be a leader. I love his hustle, and the way he played hurt last year - wow! Hopefully, some of his dedication to TEAM will rub off on these young guys. Go Dane & GO VOLS!!
