Is he involved with broadcasting or is he trying to get into coaching? I know this is an SEC network crew but I can't help but think he'd be a great color analyst. The guy doing the color tonight is uninspiring to say the least.

He's great on the Sports Source on Sundays.

he is working with a real estate group out of chattanooga im pretty sure. high dollar stuff, and as you mentioned sports sunday thing. thats all i know of though.

. Callers kept asking him about it on the animal, then Griff kept pushing it in his columns/blogs and it kept getting thrown out by callers and knox media. I think that was pretty much all there was to it.

At an alumni event a few weeks ago he was a guest speaker and mentioned that he's definitely interested in coaching, just not right now due to his other commitments. He also mentioned he enjoyed his few experiences in broadcasting and would definitely give it a look if an opportunity came his way. He didn't sound nearly as convinced about that as he did coaching, fwiw.
