Daniel Brooks could have been a great plaer for UT but with all the problems he has caused its probably best for everyone that he leaves. I live near Jackson, Brooks' home town, and have been following him closely over the past few years. He has been given every opportunity and he still wouldn't play by the rules. The Vols even went as far as giving his HS teammate, Bo Hardegree, a scholarship to help persuade Brooks. No disrespect to Bo, but to give a scholarship to a kid who wasn't even the best QB in the Jackson area, the coaching staff must be sick at the way Brooks' career or lack there of turned out.

I agree with what PF said. Evidently, Brooks and the other two have been yapping at one another for a while now. WHen he didint invite them to a party, they took offense.

Whatever problems he had with these BB players, he wouldnt let them die. Now, it came back and bit him in his butt.

I am not aware of all the problems this guy has had, but Coach Fulmer needs to make it clear for all to hear that incorrigible folks can't stay on Rocky Top.

We have had a rash of inappropriate to criminal behavior and it must not be tolerated. When a player can't act like an intelligent human, he or she needs to go somewhere else to play.

Rotten apples spoil the barrel. Undisciplined immature behavior is and must be unacceptable at our University.

GO VOLS. KICK THE DOGS ON SHIELDS-WATKINS FIELD!!!

He's immature --- glad he's gone--now someone who really wants to work hard & play football can get a chance.

Loser!!

I'm glad he is gone. I only heard his name on the news for being in trouble or being called for a penalty on special teams. I think that it was in the best intrest for the team that he was dismissed.

I glad he's gone too. We don't need folks like that around our program. D. Brooks future resume:

Fired for renting R rated videos to minors 12/12/05
2006:Employed 1/09/06 Rent-a-Stove and Couch
Fired for stealing a microwave oven
Gets 11/29 in Madison County Jail
2007: Lands a Job in Nashville, with Enterprise Rent A Car. Works for 3 years then, sets up a drug deal in a rental car, and get 10 years in Tennessee State Prison.

I hope he's glad that no one tried to help him! :lolabove:
