Daniel Hood Profile - Football Recruiting

I appears as though the title of the article on Scout.com, 'Daniel Hood Gets Dream Offer', is referring to a TN offer he just received. His first offer was from Auburn (3/25). Perhaps he becomes our first commit?

There's no telling where he's going to end up right now. He might be too slow for DE. Hopefully we find out more when he commits. :)

very close to ideal size for a TE and after the Pope move, well, there must be a need

Well, regardless if Warren plays this year or next we will have Douglas, Warren, Stocker, and Cottam. Sure we need maybe one or two more though. Just don't think he's a need at TE because of his speed.

Yea, 255 is pretty small for an O-lineman

He's only a JR in high school, he'll continue to fill out this next year. That listing is probably from some combine he went to last summer. If he comes to UT, he can take a redshirt year and put on even more weight.

Any updates on this guy? Catholic has built a good program and it would be beneficial to start a pipeline.

We're not going after him because of something terrible he did a few years ago. The kid has some problems.

If for some reason he ever plays at Tennessee i will be turning myself into the Knoxville police after i throw my shoes at him.

actually he had a knee injury and was told he probably would never play again, MCL, and patella tendon. Fulmer slighted him, and he said he would not play for us

Maybe his uncle bashed his knees in with a sledge hammer.... it would only be right.
