not going to transfer. Says UT gave him a chance, so he wants to prove to them he can play. Doesn't want to let his teammates down. Made it through the year in good academic standing.

That is good news. That's the type of attitude you want on the team. He's also probably witnessed our stellar PG play and realized he'll get immediate playing time.

Good maybe he can help pull this team together,so that they can can actually play as a team!

So, that makes this a red shirt year, right? Or does he lose it because of the issues? He still practices with the team regardless, true or false ?

hes going to enroll on his own for the spring and will play next year

according to Hubbs and Low

I suppose West is not allowed to practice with the team right now.
The year off from competitive basketball cannot be a good thing.

I took from the "yea" that he is practicing. Well, that sounds pretty good.

I didn't see the actual search box, which is very new. I now remember Freak posting about its addition.

And, I didn't search through both West threads before I posted my question, but I'm not the one who started the extra threads either.
