I did not know this. Ended up at Rhode Island. Is their backup guard.

Didn't he have a shady transcript? He would have probably been solid, but I wouldn't have wanted him anyway. That said, didn't Pearl give him the impression that if he paid his way for a year's semester, he could have the opportunity to earn a scholly? How did that work out? I'd take him over giving one to McBee anyday.

I may retract a little from my earlier statement. He would have probably contributed here a little. It's more of my frustration as to why we recruited him with a questionable resume, then told him he could have a scholarship if he attended school on his on for a year.

I don't know the full story, but from what I gathered it appears Bruce may have not been totally honest. Of course I'll get blasted, but that's how I interpreted the deal. Maybe someone with some better knowledge of the situation can chime in.
