BRISTOL Rarely is a sequel as good as the original. For Daniel Boone, its second meeting of the season with Tennessee High was a blockbuster which dwarfed the first performance.
The Trailblazers (10-2) avenged a Week 9 loss to the Vikings with a 23-14 victory in the second round of the TSSAA Class 5A playoffs Friday night at the Stone Castle. According to head coach Jeremy Jenkins, it was the first time the Boone program had ever reached 10 wins in a season.
