I know I may get some flack for saying this, but the highlight you're about to see is the most athletic play I've ever seen a football player make at any level.

At first glance it doesn't look that spectacular. But, as the great film American Beauty once stated: look again.

After the interception in which he had to jump extremely high to grab - look at the foot speed and recovery.

I've never seen anything like that in my 25 years. Ever.

It looks like he literally shot out of a rocket. If there were something besides a rocket I could compare it to, I would. Just, wow.

Here it is tell me what you think:

I mean he's ridiculously fast, but you have to remember he's playing against highschoolers.

It's not him running past the defenders that I'm looking at. Its the recovery from jumping extremely high in the air to going full speed as soon as he hits the ground.

Watch it again.

Still not seeing it. I mean it shows he's explosive but that's about all. He had a good jump on that ball. He was going to hit the ground running regardless. Good highlight, but one of the best ever?

Best highlight ever? No. I may have misspoke.

It's the best show of foot speed and recovery I've ever seen. Yes.

Nope...you're right. He was moving like he was at a Track meet and the other team like they just got out of bed.

I concur that Rogers is a stud. But is this the best display of athleticism ever at ANY level? No it is not. Do I think he has the potential to join the ranks the best we've seen in Neyland? Yes I do. You should watch some Eric Berry footage. I recommend viewing any of his interception returns as a display of athleticism. Then take a peek at his hits on Knowshon Moreno and Marquis Maze. Just for fun...

That is freakish how he was running full speed as soon as he hit the ground with very little forward momentum when he landed. I'm impressed, but I also wonder if the person who put the vid together didn't fast forward it at that part.

LMAO!

You obviously have no clue what an athletic play that is. Probably because you've never played a down of football in your entire miserable life?

I love how you suggest that somebody is living a miserable life if they don't agree with you.

It makes you sound smart.

My brother and I were watching the Copeland film on YouTube last night and were laughing our asses off at how he was dominating everyone. The WWE style tackle at the end was crazy!

I just got done watching Fugate's films. His defensive one wasn't impressive, but he looks like a future NFL player on his offensive film. He's got it all: speed, moves, vision, hands, toughness, etc. I think he would've thrived in an option attack, but I'm excited we got him. His three star rating is a total joke. I was shocked when I watched his film. I really didn't expect him to be that good after seeing his rating and innocent-looking photo.

That was a great highlight it shows how explosive he can be. I wont go as far as you did and say it was one of the most "athletic" plays I have ever seen. I still think the twisting catch that Denarius Moore made as he was falling into the end zone right at the pylon was awesome, one of the best catches of the year. To me that is what I consider an athletic play. But you are right, that was imperessive and shows how explosive Rogers is.

Impressive explosive first step. Exceptional.

Now we see that type of play by elite college athletes and almost every single NFL DB/WR out there.
