Based on a few games?

You can tell a lot about someone in just a "couple of games" DT has the things you can't teach or develop. Is Basketball IQ is insane, his court vision, his ability to put the ball exactly where he wants too. That's how you can tell based on a few games. We haven't had a pg like this since CJ and IMO I think he'll be even better.

I knew from watching his high school film that he was going to be a difference-maker. He just has "it". He has no real weaknesses that are glaring and seems to have a lot of poise for a freshman. I'm sure he'll take his lumps at times, but he has surpassed my expectations thus far.

Won't take long. He's just not comfortable with it yet. Stroke looked fine in the high school clips.

DT said he wasn't the scorer that Barton is. I don't know if he just isnt called on to score, or he just isn't comfortable shooting right now.

He looks promising for sure

Need to see a decent outside stroke before moving up lists.

He's a 40+% three point shooter once he hits a couple and gets confident. He was money in high school, AAU and RTL....I know it doesn't guarantee anything, but he's got a good shot just not much confidence in it at this point.

some kids go through growth and strength spurts that affect their shot for a little while too. Then they adjust. I just haven't seen him shoot enough in a UT game to form an opinion on his release. I imagine it's a little slow, but somewhat expected due to his length. Would be good if he could get the ball up on his temple and have a Curry type release, and I mean Dell Curry.
I think he had some brick free throws early on, but chances are nerves had something to do with it.

Him and Austin at PG for the next three years will be an absolute joy. Austin is a baller too.
