He had a monster pre-draft process so far. Great senior bowl week and dominated the combine. Imo he will easily be a top 20 pick. Happy for him, he stuck it out and never complained. Tennessee legitimately could have 5 guys go before the end of round 2. Wright and Hyatt in round 1 and Hooker, Tillman, and Young in round 2. Impressive what Huepel has done with these kids, now he can show recruits if you come here and work hard he and his staff will put you in the league and make you alot of money. Things are finally turning around in Knoxville.

Selfishly hoping he'll be around for the Steelers at pick 32. Pick 17 is probably too early. Nice jump in draft positioning and happy for him!

I think he could be one of the best RTs in the NFL. Especially as a pass blocker

Finally I agree with that dude for once
Washington picks #16. I could see Darnell going to the Patriots at #14 or the Steelers at #17 (assuming nobody trades up to draft him). If he doesn't go by pick #17, I could see the Chargers grabbing him at #21.

Here is another article about Wright that hit this morning. I love hearing this stuff. It really shows what a great job our coaching staff has done teaching him how to play the position against multiple styles of defenders. Quick read, you'll like it too!

4 NFL Draft prospects I fell in love with at combine, including Tennessee's Darnell Wright

Here is a comment from cbs about Wright after the combine, love seeing our guys get this type of press. The narrative going into the combine was that Wright wasn't an elite athlete which I didnt understand at all. Any lineman playing in our type of offense had to be well conditioned and a damn good athlete. He didn't allow a single sack in an offense known for running alot more plays than your average NCAA offense.

Darnell Wright, OT, Tennessee: The way Wright carried his 333-pound frame was amazing. On-field workouts, in the 40 where he ran a blazing 5.01 ... all of it. Wright is so damn smooth, and he's already built like a five-year NFL veteran. He's 6-foot-5 with nearly 34-inch arms. His Tennessee film was a masterclass in pass blocking, and he's a plug-and-play right tackle who should be selected comfortably in Round 1.

Yep. Their OL is highly suspect. Need to draft at least 2 studs this year
Lots of names I’m excited about that should be available all the way to the third day imo. I’d be slightly surprised if Skoronski went top 10…so that stretches it out further.

VFL Darnell Wright Reportedly Met with 12 NFL Teams | Rocky Top Insider

With Fowler’s list, we can determine that Wright has met with five of the teams that own a Top 10 pick in the upcoming 2023 NFL Draft: Cardinals (No. 3), Colts (No. 4), Lions (No. 6), Raiders (No. 7), Falcons (No. 8).
Wright is an impressive right tackle, but I don't see any NFL team drafting him in the Top 10 unless they have a left-handed QB. Unless I'm missing somebody, I think Tua is currently the only left-handed starting QB in the NFL. My guess is that these teams in the Top 10 are kicking the tires on Wright in case they decide to trade down.
