"It’s been a wild ride for the Bears this season, but Wright has provided at least one silver lining. The Tennessee product has been the most consistent run blocker in this class, regardless of position, and looks like a true keeper at right tackle. Wright’s work as a right tackle-only prospect made him a bit of a trickier evaluation in a very close offensive tackle stack last spring. Great work by Ryan Poles to pinpoint him as a potential foundational piece."

As a Bears fan, it’s nice to see this young man coming through big time.
Got through a lot of “shoulda took Jalen Carter instead of this bum!” noise to get here. Still a debatable point but we only see the occasional “shoulda just moved Teven Jenkins there and took Carter!” contributions lately. 😏

Im old...its catching up with me
Doubt it. Bryce Young has done absolutely nothing to merit being on a list like this. He looks out of place in the NFL. Tough road as a rookie so far. And other rookie QBs have done a lot better - now surrounding talent likely has something to do with it to be fair, but I’ve watched Panthers games this season and he doesn’t appear to be adapting to the NFL well at this point. GBO!

What's making it worse for Panther fans is Stroud has looked great all year.

Texans were in much better shape even before the draft from a roster standpoint. They had their own draft capital plus Clevelands from the Watson trade.

Carolina had to give up a bunch to move up didn't they? If Young doesn't pan out, that franchise is screwed for 5 years. Right now, the Panthers are full of holes and little draft capital to plug them.

At least to me, Carolina would have benefited in waiting a year to draft "their guy". Could have let Corral do his thing for a year and if it worked out-all the better. In the meantime, build the rest of your team.

As a Panthers fan bc i live in charlotte...you are absolutely correct. I was super pissed they gave up so many picks to get to no1 PLUS a legit top20 WR in the NFL to Chicago!!! So damn stupid. Then drafted the wrong QB to boot despite everyone including our GM and coach wanting the QB thats gonna be rookie of the year for the texans...

Tepper is a spoiled control freak billionaire dbag that is gonna kill this team worse than Jones in Dallas...because he wont let the men he hired do their jobs and build the team. We are screwed for 5 years despite having a top10 defense easily if the offense didnt go 3 and out on 75% of their drives....hell we may still be top10 in points and yardage right now even with a horrible offense. Defense is stout but the Oline sucks balls and we need a stud WR too. ...we are screwed

7th ranked QB already and with his performance and stats so far he could be an All-pro. I've never heard of a rookie QB doing that. That guy drops dimes like noone I've ever seen.

Conundrum: Happy for Darnell, but as a Pack fan, I can only be a certain level of happy. The irony though is that I am thrilled for Josh Dobbs in MN.
