anyone watching this outside the lines?

I never knew all of the details behind this sad story.

Bliss was taped by one of his assistants saying that they needed to make it look like the player who was murdered was a drug dealer so they could save their jobs.

What a low down dirty ungrateful assistant. Bliss should've canned his a**.

For those who hadn't read into this, that assistant was blackballed by the coaching community for "snitching". People like Coach K even publicly said they wouldn't hire him after what he did (tape his boss trying to coerce him into lying).

You don't know the half of it. Allen Academy publicly backed Bliss, and rather than suspend him and accept the probation, they withdrew from the organization that handed it down and chose to compete as an independent. Bliss is still running the athletic department and coaching basketball there. And, I am certain, still cheating.

In four years, his show-cause penalty expires. I hope no one in college basketball would sink so low as to bring this sleazebag back into the game.
