Good article. I'm a baseball guy myself and am very excited and anxious to see what Serrano can do. Winning this upcoming season could be great, but I honestly think I'm more interested to see where we will be after 3-4 years! It's looking good so far!

Tim Corbin is a great coach and recruiter. He gets kids from all over the country, not just Tennessee. I'm not saying Serrano can't get it going at UT, but it will not be at the expense of Tim Corbin nor Vandy.

It already looks like we hired the right man for the job. (with his track record)

Guys, you're going to be surprised how improved this team will be. Just considering morale alone will cut the team ERA by 40%.

Really surprised Ramsey signed...he was an 19th rd pick and could've came back strong from injury and really impressed with the help of Serrano, who is a pitching guru....seems like a bad decision....Reed and Dean also transferred

The question is who is gonna pitch this year? I'm betting Serrano signs a ton of JUCO guys to fill all these roles of guys who departed....remember Gruver is gone as well

Based on his recruiting and his resume', I think I'm gonna take a swig of his cool aid.

I am even more confident than David that UT will be not only a contender but a league winner. I have followed him for much longer than I care to admit.

yeah, I was very surprised to see Ramsey was leaving as well. He really struggled last year with injuries and thought he could come back strong this year and go much higher in the draft. I wish him the best but will miss him here.

I'm confident Serrano will turn us back to a viable baseball club, but I don't think Corbin is shaking in his cleats at the moment. Like it or not, Vandy has one hell of a baseball program and it's not stopping any time soon.
