Does any of you guys think fullback David Holbert will get any playing time this year? Let's say sufficient playing time?
I'm David's uncle and it's frustrating for our family to see him used seldomly like that...
Can any of you access this situation, maybe it's something we don't know..
Corey Anderson is good and a beast, but the never leaves the field.
That's alot of talent waisted!! When he could have played college ball just about anywhere...

it will be :eek:k: . The problem is he plays the same postion as Corey Anderson. David holbert is a beast at fullback and he should get in ALOT more this upcoming week. We didn't really run alot of I formation like we tradionally do and Holbert will get his time man. Just look at it this way, Clausen is just now getting his shot at playing and he is a Senior. No reason to worry and its nice to see you back on the board again.

he may of been able to play somewhere else but ut will take him to places he couldnt go. and if he stays with it, he will probably be in the nfl. plus he is just a sophmore. he will be fine. dont get frustrated so fast. he is in a great program that will not waste his talent.

yeah forgot about that. He is only a sophmore. Our fullbacks always go to the nfl. Actually, All of our rb go to the nfl.

They may still be nervous over his shoulder and are wanting to bring him on slowly so they have him all season

That would be my only guess.
Let him heal up 100% and work him in slow. I wouldnt get to down about him yet. He's a nice weapon out of the backfield and seems to know his protections well.

There we go, a Vol player family member, I had a post in the pub wondering if the players/family ever checked out the board. I think Holbert will be fine. It just takes time. Don't get frustrated, there is always a reason. We can only speculate, we never know what's in CPF's head.

It is because of his shoulder and wanting to bring him along slowly
