I'm from Ringgold and have heard stories about how athletic he was but I also remember hearing he was the leading scorer on the freshman team with Ernie & Bernie. Anybody know?

Sadly, he had both legs amputated and died in 1980.

Very tragic. I think they dedicated the season to him at UT.
