His contract is up at the end of 2011. Is there any chance you think he'll be in the #6 after 2011?

Personally, I'd be shocked if he is.

I'd say he will be bumped down to the Nationwide Series like Elliott Sadler. I think he could be good there, but he isn't a Cup level talent.

The 6 is Trevor's after this year, only reason what Roush kept him was because if he replaced him UPS had an opt-out clause in the contract.

How many years without a win, or even a second place does he get on a top level team? This is one weakness I see in Jack Roush, he hangs on to a non-productive driver too long. Johnny Benson and the driver of the 16 before Biffle, Ted Musgrave are examples who had several years without a win.

This has been one of the problems with Roush for as long as I can remember. Also the fact that they can be red hot one year and fall off the wagon the next, while teams like Hendrick stay steady. As a fan of the team, it puzzles me for sure.

This is wrong, a report out there now says Ragan is signed through 2014 but the UPS sponsorship ends this season.

Doesn't sound right, not to 2014. I expected him to be dropped if he doesn't improve drastically this year. I refer to my previous post re Jack Roush.

According to Jayski and Fox Sports-

•Ragan signed thru 2014: some previous reports had #6-David Ragan of Roush Fenway Racing as a free agent after this season. According to Roush Fenway Racing, the UPS sponsorship is up at the end of 2011, however, Ragan's contract extends throught 2014 (FoxSports)(2-4-2011)

contracts are only a piece of paper these days. if he doesn't run well and UPS doesn't reup and want him as their driver he will be gone. I hope he runs well and doesn't have to worry about it.
