Duke is playing sloppy on offense, but I continue to be excited by how improved they are on D.

Been playing great D all year. The offense is looking quite sloppy right now though. Atleast they aren't jacking up threes.

But oh well i'm off to TBA to watch my first UT game since moving here. Hope its a good one.

I also hope K gets after em a little bit at halftime. Go Duke!

I still think it is a year late, but Smith makes all the difference in the world at the point. Especially since Paulus continues to improve as a huge bench contributor

I loved how the announcers called attention to the ridiculous charge calls Duke benefits from.

I completely agree. Watching Nolan improve game to game is encouraging. The court vision will come with experience. He can be a better shooting Dockery. And i'd love that.

And man, do I love the D the team is playing. Ok now I have to leave lol, I just had to sit around til half.

Edit: VFB, what do you think about Zoub's continued improvement?

Van Gundy mentioned he was under the basket. Until the NCAA changes the rule, it is still a charge. This isn't the NBA

"The patented Duke run" to start the 2nd half.

Duke started killing the clock with about 5 min. left. They wanted the game to be over when Davidson cut it to 8.

It was a good game overall.

Duke completely shut Curry down and limited him to a mere 29 points.

That's not what I was referring to. Some of those charges weren't charges at all. The defender was not set or planted. Period. But for Duke, that never seems to matter.

Van Gundy was referring to being under the basket.. And fwiw, you don't necessarily have to be set to draw a charge. The NBA has a 4' radius, the NCAA does not. In the particular instance Van Gundy brought it up, The Davidson player turned into the Duke player, what they call a blind corner. As long as the defensive player is there, whether set or not, a charge is correct call.

I always laugh at people that cry because Coach K is smart enough to exploit the rules.
