I went to the game last night, it was the first chance I've had to see the Vols play this year.

I'm not going to get down on the Diamond Vols because I seen the disappointed and frustration in those guys eyes. They are trying.

I just did not see good baseball from the Vols last night. ETSU is struggling in the A-Sun Conf and totally out played Tennessee everywhere possible. Vols just can not hit! And it's effecting the pitchers.

Positive note: Zach Osborne is one heck of SS. He made 4 or 5 excellent plays, he has a great arm and good range at SS. Also, Kentrail Davis hit the longest home run I have ever seen in ETSU's ballpark in a long time (opposite field). He lived up to all the hype from what I seen from him last night. He's a playa.

We better enjoy those guys. I don't think they'll be back next year... :cray:

I know its early but I am starting to have questions. By no means am I calling for his job. Personally, I will have a better grasp on things after next year. I will be the first to say that I was all for getting rid of Rod so I'm not gonna rip this hire until all the precincts are in.
