An unexplainable epidemic has swept across the globe affecting every human being. People are frantically searching for answers because if you fall asleep... You die. How long can people stay awake?

It's an original and refreshing concept and it may become a new favorite of mine. Starting episode two now.

Plus Red vs Blue fans will get a kick out of it. Joel will ring some bells lol.

The first episode is up for free on Youtube. Let me know what you think.

That's a completely stupid and hopeless premise.

Probably thought up by redbull, monster, or some coffee company

Jk

I mean, I guess it's right up there with Nightmare On Elmstreet. If you go to sleep you may very well die but at least in that series they had a fighting chance inside their dreams.

This show makes it seem like, "what is the point in even trying?" You might as well just go to sleep and take it like a man.

Sounds like they better figure it out quickly, you can't really go all that long without sleep. The longest documented anyone has stayed awake is 11 days.

My only issue with it is, how would they even figure out that they couldn't sleep? 99% of the world would be dead after just one day.

I couldn't imagine that.

The most I've stayed up is close to 48 hours and I was as punch drunk as you could get.

That's the other issue, the longer you go with no sleep, the less effective your motor skills, thinking, etc. all become. So that makes the time crunch even worse considering you'll essentially get dumber the longer you go with no sleep.

Also, not to be morbid, but going to sleep and not waking up isn't exactly the worst way to go.

That was about it for me. Wife had to have surgery, I had my kids, and had to work (couldn't miss cause we needed the $ for chemo), I literally felt like I was going to die.

Sh*t I was crazy productive on day 6 with no sleep.

It was first noticed in hospitals and on planes. Everyone asleep died at the exact same time. If you give it a watch it will be explained and make sense.
