Just happened to look at the schedule and noticed who we play on 10/18. I remembered the hoop-la surrounding their QB and did some forum searches. Is the home town hero who was shunned going to make us eat crow?

I certainly hope not. But as of right now, I would call it a toss up.

Hometown hero?

Everyone shunned Bo Wallace except Arkansas State and maybe Tennessee Tech.

Wallace still sucks.. Freeze is good at moving an offense down the field Though

my dad is an ole miss alum... so I've watched a lot of ole miss games. There are 2 Bo Wallaces... one will look like an all SEC player and go 20-27 for 320 and 3 TDs... the other will throw 3 picks and fumble... it's all about hitting him early and often.

Given how our D is prone to make the most average QB an instant Heisman favorite, I hope like hell we don't see the 1st Bo Wallace you mentioned.

got a whole lot of football to play before we face ole miss...this post is premature to say the least. Lets at least see how team #118 plays a single game before we start worrying about the lower teams on our schedule... just sayin

He doesn't look that great to me and I watched 3 full games if theirs last year. Ta&m, lsu, and Vandy(which happend to be incredibly enjoyable). Hes nothing special. They have some really good skill players though. They have an elite wr and rb. They also got that player on D (very unique name) that I think might have been the no. 1 prospect in the nation. Either way, they aren't a great team. They had to come from behind to beat Vandy. We lead most of the game against them. Either way, I doubt that after the game there ends up being a bunch of people saying if only we had Bo...
