I’ve said so much dumb sh*t in game threads. Lord knows I said 10x as much when I was 17-18. Combine that with the fact that I believe he had good intentions with what he said (wanting to go play with someone who looked like him, which isn’t a common thing for most 5 stars to be capable of doing in P5 football) then I definitely can’t excuse him. Everyone wanting to write off recruits over one dumb statement of spurning us in embarrassing fashion (s/o Mays) would be the first ones asking for lenience for social figures or politicians saying borderline racist stuff - hell, they’d probably be citing Seaton as a reason it should be allowed.

Lane Kiffin's high school classes are in no way comparable to what Deion has right now. If memory serves, I think Ole Miss was 23rd last year?

It is ridiculous to only have 6 signees in the early period ... and that's including Seaton. If he signs with Maryland? Colorado's class is pretty much nothing. That's no way to manage a major college football program.

its not even like Deion is going after young guys in the portal. I only saw 1 freshman, and 3 sophomores. a lot of 1 year rentals in the group. not sure how much eligibility each one has left but 6 were at least 4th year players.

New Big 12 is most definitely a pushover. It's not Power 4 let's be honest. Somewhere in the between...probably closer to a "Group of x" conference.
