'24 DC OT Jordan Seaton (Future Portal Entry)

If you do a little research, you'll find that Colorado was recruiting LA gang bangers on those teams. I got so bad that McCartney had to turn to religion after football. I remember their QB standing on the sidelines wearing a full-length fur coat during a game. Think of the Baylor scandal----it was almost that bad.
That has nothing to do with a damn thing I've been talking about. Did I say that they were recruiting good citizens? No.

How could we lose a recruit to a team that only has six commitments? That is the number Colorado has, six.

We didn’t lose a commit. He was never a commit here. And tbh I don’t think he ends up there. I think he got caught up in the hype at Colorado and was promised a media tour by Deion and his buddies. He jumped on it. I can’t fault him for that. I mean, being my age it seems goofy. But 18 year old me would’ve probably loved it.

I did not say that he was a commit. I said "recruit" because Seaton was a recruit. In effect, you are objecting by arguing that we must win a recruit before we can lose a recruit, which does not even make good nonsense. The rest of your post I get.

How dare a coach give a kid with no structure, that turned to gang family life, an opportunity for a better one!

I say we only praise recruiting kids with white picket fences.

And yes I'm only partially giving you a hard time long balls Batman 😆

Everyone deserves a fair a shot. That being said, filling your roster with a bunch of guys with a rap sheet is not a particularly wise way of running a program. Especially when you lose control of the team.

So I am curious. Let’s say Seaton decided to flip to us. Highly unlikely but let’s say it happens. Would those of you who have called him shady, easily led, weird or whatever other negative things, be saying the same if he were a Vol?

I M thinking not. I am thinking you would be booming like brassy because we just got an elite player at a position of need.
If he flips, signs, and is locked in - come back and ask. I’ll tell you exactly.
