Few things, Campbell isn’t switching positions for a true Freshman. Spraggins is a 4 year starter at RG also isn’t switching positions for a true Freshman. If all goes according to plan the line should look like this:I know I’m into the bourbon too much already but Mincey might not even start.
LT: Seaton
LG: Spraggins
C: Mays
RG: Warren
RT: Campbell
I’ve been thinking about this for hours so don’t test me. My logic is infallible.
Love it. If we drink enough bourbon between now and September, it will feel like we made it to this OL led by Nico in around a month’s time.I know I’m into the bourbon too much already but Mincey might not even start.

Yes .... even the schools that Seaton, himself, eliminated just two days ago from his list of schools under consideration still get a mention.Covering all his bases I see.
Idk if this has been addressed, I'm still catching up.Not a lot of updates right now.
Every other site is just trying to make sense of the AP post when it finally made its way to them (2-4 hours after he originally posted it)
I maintain that AP breaking that, and no one else having their own updates, is significant
AP did add this morning that USC is not in it
Bama site said a couple days ago that the staff stopped by IMG for visits and Seaton wasn't there (already in LA)
Steve Wiltfong knows enough to not still be listing Colorado and Maryland as possible destinations for Seaton. Wiltfong is risk averse. It's butt covering to an extreme .... some might even call it gutless. If we lost this guy to Maryland, then Heupel should be fired.
Obviously overreacting there, but that would be pretty embarrassing. However, I still like our chances, but seems like it’s a “who the hell knows.”
Details?
But as of Wednesday night, there's enough evidence to suggest Tennessee should be viewed as the team to beat leading up to Thursday's announcement. The Vols undoubtedly have had some momentum with Seaton down the stretch, and that doesn't seem to have faded coming off his official visit to Ohio State. Tennessee has made him a huge priority in recent weeks, and while Heupel and Elarbee weren't able to meet with him on Wednesday, there's still a good bit of optimism that he could pick the Vols.
There's still at least some level of mystery leading up to Thursday's announcement, especially since Seaton hasn't said much publicly this week, so we can't entirely rule out the possibility of a last-minute surprise. But at this point Tennessee appears to be in good shape with Seaton, and there's reason to believe the Vols could add the No. 1 offensive tackle in the 247Sports Composite to their 2024 class on Thursday.
The big news this week was the nation's no. 1 offensive tackle Jordan Seaton - IMG Academy - Offensive Tackle (on3.com) deciding to end his commitment with a surprise graphic tweet. Most expected this recruitment to go on longer, and even with the announcement set we've had more than a couple of sources speculate it might not be entirely over even Thursday.
The surprises for Seaton didn't stop after his announcement date was set. He also headed to California, we are told to train, for the week while choosing not to host any in-person meetings with any of the coaching staffs. Not unheard of but different for sure. Despite no face-to-face he did talk to college staffs today including Alabama. Tennessee and Oregon. There are likely others but as of this posting we've confirmed those three.
From the Alabama end the discussion with Nick Saban and Eric Wolford went well per sources near Seaton's recruitment. As we've reported throughout the process the relationship between the Alabama has been strong. So today was no surprise. Seaton spent the majority of his time on the phone talking with Saban and again the conversation was positive.
Seaton isn't likely to tip his hand at this stage but as of Wednesday night, the majority seems to think it's Bama or Tenn and could be a head vs heart decision when all is said and done. Alabama has been high on his list throughout the recruiting process. Florida, Oregon, Ohio State and Colorado have been mentioned. But the Buffs didn't make the edit and optimism in Columbus seems to be waning quickly.
But again, nobody we've spoke to on any side has any strong convictions at this stage. Can't stress this enough. The commitment date itself caught everyone involved off guard. And since Monday there has been a lot of playing catch up. So tomorrow should have its share of build up to the announcement. No time has been set as of Wednesday night.
BOL TAKE: Alabama remains in the picture. To what degree I guess we will know tomorrow, and the fact Seaton doesn't seem to have any intention of tipping his hand means, just like we did Monday's surprise announcement, that we will all find out at the same time again. But we do think that Alabama's has done all they could here and tomorrow we will see if it was a enough.
We will keep you posted if we hear more.
Seaton spoke with Alabama multiple times this week. He knows the plan they have in place, and the development standpoint from an OL perspective is second to none.
Other factors can always be involved. We just don't know which direction or feel comfortable with a prediction which is rare at this point.
