DE Craig Sanders to decommit from Bama for Auburn

An enemy of my enemy is my friend.... unless we're playing them this weekend- then they're both my enemies. I could never ever have the same hate for Auburn that I do for Bama though.

I am surprised. Your board is a little behind on this. A month ago when Alfy Hill commited to us the rumors started he was maybe decommiting and going to the Barn. Two weeks ago we found out. I have no issues with players that want early playing time, because that means our depth is where it needs to be. RTR

Rumor then so didn't want to feed the fire yet. I thought I said something last week when I thought maybe C Grant might be looking at Auburn. They went to the last two games together at the Barn. I think we might have 1 or 2 more decommit before it is done, which is fine. This is what happens when you fill up early. Especially with players that want early playing time. The nice thing is the players that are now starting to consider us. A few are commited else but are coming for official visits now.

I don't live in Tennessee to keep up with football but my friend told me today that Jacques Smith from Ooltewah tore up some big OL from Maplewood? Does anybody know who he is talking about? James Stone?

My friend from Chattanooga told me he had like 4-5 sacks against Stone? Is that true or is he just fibbing a little bit? Stone was the guy that looked bad in the Vols camp wasn't he? If so, do we really want this guy or is he over-rated?

Uh.... I dont think he had that many sacks overall but when Stone guarded him Smith wore him out, but yes Stone didnt do very well at Camps but i think he is a little overrated but we do need him, we just need O lineman.

Thanks for letting me know, people in my home town like to blow things up a little bit when it is a local guy. He also told me that my former HS Boyd-Buchanan is like number#1 in the state and blowing teams out. I can't believe it! lol lol

A strong Auburn can only hurt Bama and vice versa, alas I wouldn't be surprised if Saban has something up his sleave, a lot of bammers are hearing rumblings about Saban going after Delvin Jones.

Dropping like flies...no one wants to play for a cheater!

The UT faithful I have come to Love:)

I have not heard anything about D Jones looking at us or us at him. That doesn't mean it isn't so. BTW this player only hurts us because he instate and it was Auburn. He wouldn't have seen the field at UA until he was a junior. He wouldn't have started at UT next year.

We had a few surprises this week that might work in our favor. Especially players commited elsewhere that are coming here for officials now. BTW I hope Auburn can become a national power again, because it makes our games mean that much more.

#1 in the state is MUS (Brunetti's school) by far. #2 is Ensworth, who has Orleans Darkwa and Antonio Richardson, and #3 is Alcoa. That's all I know.

Don't you love this. Bama beats Auburn one time, all of the sudden Auburn is nothing. They beat you guys 6 times in a row. You only have beat Tennnessee 2 times in a row. Before then Tennessee won 9 out of the last 10 against you guys. I think you first have to dominant a team for 4-5 years before you can say you hope that get back. One win out of 7 times against Auburn and they are so below Bama???

I forgot a team has to wear orange to be a national contender. LOL

Come on now you can do better than that. My reference is to where UA is compared to the Barn on the national scene for this season and last season. Both on the field and in regards to recruiting. I understand when a team is down fans like to linger in the past, but realistically if you think Auburn is on Bama's level this year you should go watch another sport.

You beat them one time in 7 tries. Yeah they are not doing good in recruiting compared to Bama and TN (scout.com) and I think they will fall behind. I think that Georgia will eventually go down and it will be Tennessee and Florida in the East and Bama and LSU in the west, as it should be. However you cannot act like that they need to resurrect a program that has been beating down. They beat you 6 times in a row at that streak just ended last year. That said I believe Bama is the best in the nation this year, but still you have to dominate for more then a year and 1/3rd of a season. You have to do it for 4-5 years before you own a team and can say, I hope they become national contenders again. That said Auburn could be very good this year. I think that Chizik will be like Bowden. The first year will be good, but the talent will slowly drop and they will be 7-5 or worse.
