One of the nation’s most productive edge rushers is on the market as Temple defensive end Quincy Roche announced Tuesday he is entering the transfer portal. As a RS Junior, he will be immediately eligible.

He was the American Athletic Conference defensive player of the year and a first-team All-American by Sports Illustrated. The Sporting News and USA Today picked him as a second-team All-American.

He has career totals of 137 tackles, 39 1/2 tackles for loss, 26 sacks, six forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries and three blocked kicks.

As a Temple grad with those stats, he's probably a day 2 pick. A year in a P5 program with big time stats, and he becomes an automatic day 1 pick. Plus, he can get a free master's degree.

Agreed with you my preference to but this guy can play and they played a lot of pass heavy teams and was in the backfield alot
