Dead period

Anyone else hate it?

This has been one of the worst sports years of my life regarding teams I root for...and I need recruiting info to keep me going!!

The dead period sucks.

Think about it this way: This time last year we were already in the dead period. There was no more practice for the players, no bowl game, not much of anything really. So the Dead Period will be about a month shorter than it was last year. We were all sitting around wondering if Kiffin and the staff he was putting together was going to do anything.

It kinda sucks, but it is needed. If not you would have some coaches going to recruits house on Christmas morning trying to recruit them. I think they can still call and contact recruits but not visit them? So in a way the recruiting still happens, just no face to face contacts.

The rumors at that point were the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen...That 3 month period from the day Kiffin was hired till Bryce signed was the most fun I have ever had on this board:good!:
