I know this may be moot point, but I don't see why DeAngelo Williams is not getting any heisman hype.

Well, I KNOW why, but I don't understand it. Since when did you have to play for a team that is challanging for the National Championsip to win the award. The stats don't lie.

Carries Yards TD Avg Per Game Avg
195 1309 12 6.71 187.00

He leads the nation in rushing, Avg, and Per Game Avg, and he is second in TDs!

I know it will never happen, but it's worth complaining about.

What do yall think about the heisman these days?

6.71 yards a carry, thats like a new record or something
i think your right DeAngelo Williams shoud get the Heismen, and its going to be funny when he doesn't and gets drafted in the NFL and becomes the next Walter Payton

I never put much value on the Heisman. Not many people that win the Heisman turn out to be all star players in the NFL. Ron Dayne is a mighty fine example of that. The Heisman award is overrated and too much hype is placed on it.

Simple, ESPN is too busy plugging for Reggie Bush.

Two things that I'm sick of hearing on ESPN is "Reggie Bush" and "The U"......

They are hyping Bush, but I really think it's deserved. He is the most dynamic player out there. If USC runs the table, I don't see how he doesn't win it.

I didn't mean to sound like Bush didn't deserve it, I just have flashbacks to them hyping Woodson and I get bitter.

Understood . . . The funny thing is that statistics-wise, Reggie Bush isn't even the best running back in Los Angeles.

The Heisman is a joke!!!!! I don't ever watch the presentation and I put no weight into who wins it because 99.9% of the time it isn't even the best player in the nation who wins it.

Ill watch it, just cause it's the only football on right before the bowl season, but it's just to pass the time
