That truly sucks and I think your commissioner is a lying piece of garbage that deserves to be fired for not sticking up for your program.

Art Briles should have rearranged that dude's face on the spot.

Now, with that out of the way, add 2 teams, play a Conference Championship, and schedule someone from a power 5 conference.

On a Vandymania thread cutting down the Gator Bowl for inviting Tennessee, they said A&M should have been invited to the Texas Bowl to play Texas but A&M ducked them.

Jesus Christ, stop it with the texas v A&M crap already. I've explained it at least 3 times already on 3 separate threads. If you'd like to troll me, find a new shtick.

Just let them play a title game with 10 teams. They shouldn't be forced to make a poor financial decision by expanding because the committee wants them to play a 13th game.

If Byu didn't get a call today he is not doing his job. They could keep their tv channel even. Who is 12? Surely not Memphis. Would they go Arkansas state, Colorado state or even Boise? All would be up grades on several of their current members.

Having a title game was never a stipulation till saturday. Same for the head to.head, the committee completely changed the way they ranked teams as soon as ESPN started promoting Ohio St. If head to head was an issue then Baylor would have been ahead of TCU all along. I think the committee lost a lot of credibility after Saturdays selection meeting .

They basically were allowed to cover their butt.

SEC powerhouse check.
Pac12 Champion & and west coast market check
Big10 traditional powerhouse and east coast media market to keep the Yankees interested check.
& FSU because they couldn't keep a team that was perfect out.

Simple fact, it's about $ and small Christian schools from Texas even, won't generate it. Baylor has a damn nice place to play in that they still don't fill. TCU is a deputaunt institution that does not travel well.

They went with who will bring in $. It's a screw job, but I see their reasoning. Doesn't make it right.

There is no way AState moves up to the Big 12.

I find it interesting that you are sticking up for them when they drop their pants and crap on Ta&m in every single thread on their forums. I mean they hate you guys worse than any SEC rivalry. I was actually surprised at how much they hate Ta&m and after reading their forums I came away liking BU a lot less and couldn't give a half a cup of spit if they ever win another game.

Your decency towards them is misplaced.

BUbear is a pretty good guy from what I can tell and we've typically been respectful to each other. I don't lump all fans together within a fan base.

I'll add since its coincidental that we play y'all tonight in men's hoops, I can not stand your basketball fans, coach, team, program, and gym.

I can be civilized when it comes to football as we still own you, but in regards to men's and women's hoops, I hate your bible thumping, dr pepper throwing, classless collective asses. Suck it bible tard. #thebaptisim

And again, this ^.

Am I the only one who...after seeing what the CFP did on Sunday...thought "It would have been better if we had just kept the BCS formula, and the Top 4 teams are in the Playoff"?

We all have our opinion on it, and we can all find the stats to support our position. For me, it reeked of backroom influence, and nothing will ever change my mind, or my opinion on this CFP committee.

Archie was right to bail, for whatever reason.

Oh...and GO VOLS!!!

The funny thing about this post is that you can almost hear Colonel Jessup saying those exact words.

Priceless.

I agree...the committee made a mockery of the whole process. Of course the talking heads at all the sports networks didn't have the balls to ask the committee why all of a sudden they changed the criteria. It's all a joke, from the commissioners, the refs, the committee....sports in general will eventually be about as real as wrastlin

I disagree because several other leagues have already expanded for this purpose. The Big 12 should not get a break on this. And, if they do go up, it creates a big opportunity for two programs.

Question to the OP, or anyone who cares to tack a swing: What Power 5 team that is not a complete bottom feeder is going to voluntarily schedule Baylor, much less offer BU a home and home deal? BU is probably not bringing enough fans to be involved in one of the neutral site kick off games. So what's the option?

Bowlsy sux...plain and simple.

As the AD of Stanford he and the other leftist school, Cal, conspired to block any possible move for aTm or Baylor
to the PAC. They got Utah and Colorado lol.

One of the many reasons Nebraska left is they couldn't win
those championship games against lower ranked BIG XII South
teams, remember when you and Texas beat them? I like the
round robin where you can't dodge any team in the conference.
