With Dempsey taking the reins as the CJCS, is the Army going to appoint another Armor guy to Chief of Staff, or are they going to continue the non-infantry trend (Casey was an outlier)?

Most hardcore Infantry guys would love to give all mechanized units to the Armor world and compose all Infantry units as Light Infantry units.

I am all for it. While they are at it, they need to restrict Ranger School to the combat arms branches. Opening slots up to service support branches has provided no greater benefit to those branches, while it does lead to less Ranger qualified Soldiers and Officers in the Infantry.

Agree, the move toward inclusion doesn't make much sense to me at all.
