Or maybe we should move to a full employment economy? You know, the one that delivered 30 glorious years? the wonder economy? the "never had it so good" economy? The one where real wealth and prosperity increased for 30 straight years?

At this stage, I'd be happy with the baby step of simply counting unemployment properly. The political infantilism in America is staggering and :jawdropping:

sounds good to me, but since this never happened i'm not sure how easy it is to "return" to it.

Although we didn't enjoy the almost non-existent unemployment of our European counterparts, we certainly had an extremely low rate for the United States, couple with an unparalleled growth in real income, home ownership, and real wealth.....

what the hell are you talking about? france and england have had unemployment higher than the US for 50 years!
