Apparently he has been practicing with the offense. It might take a few weeks for him to get up to speed on the offense on some level.
He’s electric, but running in an open field and against a stacked defense at the line of scrimmage are very different things. I think you have to at least try it in practice and see how he does against our much improved defense, and I think that’s precisely what they are doing. We must find a way to run this man more. Can he catch the ball out of the backfield. Why cannot we find a way to get him running the ball more. A definite threat every time he touches the ball !!!!
Could see him getting a handful of pop-passes or even a WR screen. Doubt we see him running routes. But I'm all in favor of Heupel turning over every rock to kickstart this offense and am assuming Heupel is spending 18+ hours a day trying to do just that.Apparently he has been practicing with the offense. It might take a few weeks for him to get up to speed on the offense on some level. It would be fitting for him to debut against Kentucky on offense and ball out.
