Exactly. The offense is still adjusting to not having Bru. He was the best WR at doing the “other things” (like blocking to set up the screen pass). It’s kind of early to take another productive guy off the field to find touches for DW.

He’s electric, but running in an open field and against a stacked defense at the line of scrimmage are very different things. I think you have to at least try it in practice and see how he does against our much improved defense, and I think that’s precisely what they are doing.

He should run from the Wildcat when we play the Wildcats.

Could see him getting a handful of pop-passes or even a WR screen. Doubt we see him running routes. But I'm all in favor of Heupel turning over every rock to kickstart this offense and am assuming Heupel is spending 18+ hours a day trying to do just that.

I don't understand why he can't see the field on defense this whole time. He has all the ball skills and speed you need.

He was in on one play as a decoy. I bet we see him touch it on offense at Bryant Denny

Dee has an “it” factor. I’m surprised he has not been incorporated in the offense regularly.

Without his two plays on special teams, the game would have been completely different

The offense, sans running game, was not producing the scores.

If nothing else he would draw the attention of the D and could be used to open up other receivers. But our biggest need right now is to get a WR who can block like Bru…

Or catch like Bru….I am tired of drops on passes that can be caught and more importantly those that should be caught.

needs to be on some jet sweeps and screens, maybe even some drag routes across the middle.
