Your absolutely right.
And i will go so far to say, the key is going to be whoever is playng cornerback and safety for UT opposite Jason Allen.
Urban Meyer is smart enough to know
1) probably cant run or pass on Jason Allen's side of the field
2) Tenn's defense is good enough to shut Florida's running game down
which basically means he is going to be throwing all day to other side of the field against whoever is playing cb and fs for UT
the reality is the way our offense played against UAB, if we get in a scoring contest against Florida were probably going to lose. Our defense has to shut Florida down and hold them probably to less then 20 points.
the whole game hinges on how well the cb and fs on the other side of the field from jason allen plays. I guess that will be jonathon wade or hefney.

You are correct, but I'm thinking the dfront will put so much pressure on Leak that the dbacks will not have as much to worry about. I'm talkin' turnovers, that's why I think field goals will make the difference, not to take anything away the the TN offense, but I'm more confident in the D.

I heard Corso say that too. My question is, what have you seen against the likes of Wyoming and La Tech that make you feel more confident about the defense?

Yeah its definitely hard to compare them against UT...but besides rotating several players...the young secondary that I thought would be the biggest weakness has made the biggest plays for the D thus far.
