This is how slow we are...

Brent Brewer - 4.4
Brian Randolph - 4.5
LaDarrell McNeil - 4.52
Justin Coleman - 4.4
Cameron Sutton - 4.45
A. J. Johnson - 4.65
Dontavis Sapp - 4.56
Malik Foreman - 4.4
Byron Moore - 4.5
Greg King - 4.5

Based on the comments of some, I guess I was expecting to see a lot more 4.6's and 4.7's. smh

There are a bunch of excuse makers on here. Auburn was pathetic last year and is close to being 9-1.

This pathetic staff is about to hit 4-6. But I guess it's Fulmer or Kiffin or Dooley that is to blame.

Tennessee hired on the cheap and that is showing.

New proven coach, same players on defense and they still suck. Not too hard to figure out. I'll reserve my judgement until 2015 at the earliest.

This explains a lot. Let's wait two years before demanding a coach improve the program.

This isn't the worst roster in college football history. But some like to act like the new coach has no ownership in this embarrassment.

You do know 40 times are done in gym shorts and tennis shoes.

Coaches can't go out on the field and make a tackle. Rewind... Most of the time the right d is called to get them in the right position but they either miss the tackle, or get outrun. Little talent and zero depth, I haven't personally seen a lot if issues with the coaching, but I know it's just easier to put the blame on the coach.

Lulz. Clearly we wear the heaviest gear in the SEC.

Exactly. Instead of people complaining that our players are too slow... just do some research.

Again. I'm not saying we have the best players in college football, but you've got to be blind to not see that it is more of a coaching issue than a "lack of speed" issue.

Im pretty sure these guys were taught how to wrap up and tackle in Pop Warner. Getting juked out of your shoes by Marshall when you've known since the 7th grade to target the belt line and not shoulder movement or head movement is not on CBJ. They know better.

The announcers just spent the last five minutes talking about the difference in explosiveness and lack of team speed.

You're exactly right. Football players learn all they need to know from Pop Warner.

So why is it CFB coaches are getting paid millions of $$$$$ to coach? Why do they spend all that time in the spring with 2-a-day practices?

Our coaches are being out coached... plain and simple.

Not giving up on the team, but anyone who thinks this team is being prepared and coached up... especially the defense and even special teams today... needs to open their eyes.

They are not learning some of the basic fundamentals of football (e.g. angles, coverage, positioning) and that has nothing to do with talent... it's coaching.

Its all about talent. We don't have the talent, We will get the talent. Much of the Dooley attitude will not be back next year. We will be very young next year, but we will have better talent at almost every position.
who do we have that would be starting on any of the SEC teams we have played this year? Maybe one or two. No one can win is the SEC without the horses.

This joke of a team STILL takes bad angles and cant tackle for sh I t! Nothing ever changes..thats the problem. I think some of this staff needs to be replaced.

This... exactly. Bad angles and poor tackling have contributed much more to the long runs given up today versus lack of speed.

I guess none of our guys played Pop Warner football so they haven't been coached on this yet.

It's not coaching. It's execution. Our players just don't get it.

What are you saying PV? That they learned this in Pop Warner but now have forgotten about it?

A good coach could take special teams with a bunch of players no faster than 4.6 and do a better job than our special teams did today.

Your right it is execution, but players are coached to execute. You can't have one without the other. Now, I will give you that blind talent can mask sub-par coaching, but when you have players making the same mistakes over and over.......its not hard to come to the conclusion that coaching, might, just might have a little something to do with it.

We have had 5 different defensive co-ordinators here in the last 6 years. Chavis, Kiffin, Wilcox, Sunseri, and Jancek. If we had some players, any of them would probably suffice.

Wilcox did suffice... would take him back no problem. The others (except Chavis) have failed.
