First two games I don't recall to much blitzing. Do you all expect a more aggressive game plan? Or do you think CBJ doesn't trust this group to be to aggressive at this point?

I would expect a few wrinkles, but wouldn't expect it to be overly aggressive. I feel our secondary will need all the help it can get from line backers dropping in coverage.

Our defense is night and day from last year. We blitzed more against UT St than we did all last season. Weatherd was used multiple times on blitzes right up the middle. The key to watch is the use of multiple fronts. We don't have the depth a DT to run 3 and 4 down all game, and Jancek proved during the UT St game that he isn't afraid to line up in some 2-4-5 sets. Watch for some bear fronts, even fronts, over fronts, under fronts, and 4-3 stack. For us to win we will have to be creative to throw off OK and keep our guys fresh due to depth concerns. I have full faith in this defensive staff, and I look forward to seeing what Jancek brings to the table this game. Jancek can't be dumb enough to sit back in cover 2s all game and expect it to go well for us. I expect a very aggressive yet methodical defense plan come Saturday.

Vol D is the strength of this team, playing great so far. Will have to carry the team in SEC play and vs OK as the rushing game looks to be easily stopped, but this Vol D could be really really good.

Nice synopsis, IMO UT will stop the run first, if that means a 4-3 with a safety in the box, an man coverage on the outside that's what you will see on 1st downs to get the down and distance in their favor and force OU into passing situations. Jancek will mix up coverages and blitzes along the way to keep them guessing.
