What a game last night! It got me interested in looking up stats. While we ranked 103rd in total defense before yesterday's game, we were tied for 29th in total touchdowns given up per CBS Sports. If you think about it, our secondary has been our weakness at times, and once teams get in the red zone, the deep threat gets taken away, which helps our defense immensely. That defense last night was nasty though! Hope they bring that energy and confidence to Athens!

Well coached teams improve throughout the season. We have a well coached team.

Haven’t been able to say that in a long time.

The defense looked great last night! Best performance of the year by far, I hope they can keep it up.

Someone else said it on this board, but after rewatching the game the best word I can use to describe UT's defense is violent. They were hurting people on the field (legally) and you could see it breaking KY's will to compete.

Looking forward to seeing that same spirit against the dawgs.

Like I've mentioned before this bodes well for us as UGA has attempted many more FG's than anyone else in the SEC. Edit.....Mizzou has recently passed them.

Yes they were awesome. Usually I don’t look forward to watching our D. But last night, I wanted to watch them more than the O. Good defense is just fun to watch

Overall our D has gotten better.

The most important part of that is our weakest area, our DB's, have gotten MUCH better!

They WILL keep working hard and WILL keep getting better every weak because I just don't see any letdown in this Team at all, NONE!

I believe that ALL of them, coaches and players, are united and on a mission TogeTher and they all know that they must PROVE it every week on the gridiron.

1 thing that surprises me is that our coaches have somehow managed to get ALL our players to Mature very quickly and have a complete understanding of all the things they must work hard all week to learn and get better at so that when they take the field of battle together they will be totally focused, able to have fun and bring home another WIN.

I'll never understand how our coaches could take so many different guys from so many different backgrounds and at so many different ages to gel together and be so lazer focused and hard working on 1 single mission together.

These coaches and our players have simply amazed me.

I'm the happiest man on Earth right now and I'm so happy for all our great fans.

Most of all I'm so proud and so happy for all our coaches and players because they've all worked together so hard and have earned all of this!!!
