You're not getting that kind of pressure rate out of a base DL without studs in DT AND DE

Maybe true, but 1st round type DTs shut down the run thus putting theor opponents in more obvious passing situations. Then collapsing the pocket on those passing downs, allowing good DEs to feast

Just my opinion, of course

Mizzou is up there? Dang, I knew they had a good offense but they may be a more complete team than I was thinking.
Their Dline is pretty good. Some of that can be attributed to competition as well.

I don’t want to take the shine off our Dline bc they’ve been awesome but this year has been a down year for Olines in the conference. You could of course counter by saying our pressures should’ve been higher vs Bama and UK if the refs had eyeballs.

It means that UT has the best DLine in the country.
We have that percentage rating DESPITE playing a MUCH tougher schedule than the others listed - up to and including the SEC refs in Tuscaloosa….
Refs in KY were not calling holds either, why we only had 1 sack, few hurries.

They’ve played a weak schedule so far….. they may be for real…. Or they may really be a paper Tiger.
The Kstate game was early in the year and their kicker kicked a 60+ yd FG to win the game.
I expect the Vols …. If healthy as they were for KY…. To beat Missouri. I don’t think they have the players on D that aTm does… or Bama

Means that whoever wins the running game probably wins and I like Tennessee's odds there.
I like those odds BIG TIME

Taking out sack yards

UK had 218, K-State 152, LSU 290, MTSU and Memphis had over 100

So what they shut down USCjr, South Dakota and Vandy. Anyone with a pulse has run all over them.

We will run at will and Joe is getting in a rhythm with Dont'e coming on... feel pretty good about it.
